Decorations really help make this theme pop...With a little imagination (and a trip to your local party supply store) you can too.  First of all what's a premiere without a red carpet?  The one pictured right  is 15ft and can be purchased at Party City (www.partycity.com), but you can find them online, or make your own.  The roll of tickets can be used in two capacities, when you send out your invites include one of the above tickets with the instruction to bring it with them to the party to take part in a raffle.  Only one ticket per raffle and only one winner (this can be counted as one of your party games).  It also can be used as a nifty little garland to decorate a cake table or in place of streamers.

Another cute and affordable decoration idea is to use these popcorn containers...Balloon centerpieces are held in place by a small weight and are  filled with candy you would normally find in a movie theare like M&M's (Party City has Movie Night Mints-pictured above).  They also work well to hold cutlery, and you can even fill them with popcorn and hand them out as snacks while a video of the baby's ultrasound is on the TV.  These containers are pretty commonplace, I've seen them in Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart and of course Party City.

If you are including children at the shower...or if it's a birthday party your throwing, Party City makes these adorable pinata's.  I think they would even work well as an addition to your hollywood themed decor.

What would a hollywood premiere be without a few celebrities...these cardboard cutouts are also easy to find and add a fun element to the decor and to your party...why not have your guests take pictures alongside Marilyn or Elvis and print them out to take home as a keepsake.
One thing I haven't touched on yet is games...I have a game I put together myself specific to baby showers where you match up the celebrity to their baby, I used celebrities who have picked "unique" names for their children  (Nicholas Cage's son Kal-El, Erykah Badu and her daughter Puma).  Another idea for a celebrity match game (borrowed from http://party-games-etc.com/2007/02/baby-shower-games-fast-and-fun.html) where you match Hollywood star baby pictures with their current pictures.

I'll add more game ideas and links as I come across them :)  And I'm sure Leigh will have some menu ideas and party favors to match this theme.
